Best Organic Hair Color Salons NYC. Best AMMONIA Free Hair Color Salons NYC. What is AMMONIA Free Hair Dye?

Hair coloring is a much more scientific process than you may think, and sometimes figuring out the differences between various hair coloring options can be pretty confusing. One substance that tends to lend itself to certain confusion is ammonia, so here are some tips to help you understand the differences between ammonia-based and ammonia-free hair coloring. We are the Best Organic Hair Color Salons NYC & Best Ammonia Free Hair Color Salons NYC!

L’Oreal INOA Ammonia Free Hair Color is odorless permanent hair color for a unique hair coloring experience. Hair is respected, and scalp is treated gently! Experience natural reflects, sublime shine and a perfect coverage.

The result of 15 patents. The ODS (Oil Delivery System) technology helps to optimise the effectiveness of the hair colour system.

96% of women are convinced by INOA! We also offer Ammonia free bleach & Ammonia free pastel hair colors!

To understand the differences between ammonia-based and ammonia free hair coloring, you should first understand what purpose the ammonia serves in the products. Since coloring hair is a process that happens via chemical reaction, the ammonia serves as the agent that allows the hair follicles to swell. When the hair is swollen, it becomes much more absorbent, which allows it to soak in the dye. This absorption is what makes it possible for deeper and longer lasting coloring to happen, because the color is deeply connected to the hair from the inside, out. Ammonia also aids in the lightening of hair because it works with the melanin and natural hair color while it undergoes the chemical reaction process.

Because the ammonia molecule is very small, it evaporates very quickly. This quick evaporation is largely the culprit for the very strong smell that occurs when you’re coloring hair. The make up of this molecule also allows for easy, quick, and clean rinsing when it’s time to remove the coloring agents from the hair.

best l'oreal inoa ammonia free hair dye salons nyc

Ammonia-free products, while free of the actual ammonia molecule, still contain certain alkaline ingredients, which are closely related to ammonia. When using ammonia-free products, you’re likely to experience results that are less optimal than their ammonia-based counterparts. One major reason for this is because the ammonia-free products utilize agents with much larger molecules. The larger the molecule, the less capable it is of saturating and infusing itself into the hair follicles. The larger molecules actually cause less swelling of the hair, which may sound counterintuitive at first thought, and the dye does not have the ability to penetrate as deeply into the hair. The result will likely be a less vibrant color. The superficial penetration of the dye also generally results in color that doesn’t last as long as it would if ammonia-based products were used.

The larger molecules found in ammonia-free hair coloring also tend to leave a residue on the follicles. Although it may be nice that these products don’t let off such a harsh odor, the lack of odor is actually indicative of the fact that the chemicals aren’t evaporating very quickly. Along the same lines, the slower evaporation can mean a more difficult time rinsing out this coloring agent. Often times, a residue is still left behind even after a thorough wash.

Best Color Correction Salon NYC. Hair Color Disaster Correction Salon NYC! It’s what we do!

Best Color Correction Salon NYC. Best Hair Color Correction Salons NYC. Color Correction Is One Of The Most Technically Challenging Services!

Color Correction is one of the most technically challenging services to accomplish as a colorist.  Many factors are involved when executing this service including hair’s  chemical history, length, porosity and density. We are the Best Color Correction Salon NYC!

best color correction salon nyc

Color correction can be time consuming – it can take anywhere from 2 – 6 hours depending on desired result. We recommend always booking a consultation prior to booking a color correction in order for your hair to be analyzed and assessed by one of our L’Oreal Professionnel colorist for your desired shade. It is very important that the stylist knows the color line they work with very well in addition to a working knowledge of color theory and the color wheel. For example: To counteract orange a colorist may use a blue/ash tone to cancel out warmth as it is opposite orange on the color wheel.

WHEN DEEPENING THE HAIR COLOR MORE THAN 3 SHADES: An example of this is when a client would like to take their lighter blond hair to a darker shade like dark chocolate or natural black. Taking hair to the desired shade on overly porous or damaged hair that has been lightened previously without a trained professional is not advised. In order to achieve consistent color saturation that won’t fade unevenly or in odd tones you must add the warmth back in first. Example: A light blond will need to be stepped down with copper before applying the desired chestnut brown. If hair is extremely damaged it may be necessary to come back in a month to redeposit the desired shade because of the damage on the hair and not due to the inability of the colorist. Sometimes the hair damage supersedes accurate coloring techniques.

LIGHTENING ARTIFICIAL PIGMENT OR LIGHTENING HAIR COLOR MORE THAN 3 SHADES ALL OVER: When getting your hair bleached it is important to know why it is necessary. Color does not lift artificial color and getting more than 3 or 4 levels of lift on natural hair is usually not possible using lifting hair color. Bleach is a different chemical process than permanent oxidative haircolor. It uses a higher ammonia content and chemical “explosions” in the hair’s structure to break up the pigment living inside. Then the hair can be toned to counteract or enhance the raw tone in the hair that has been exposed. A lot of the time clients want to avoid the red orange in the hair (also known as “brassiness”) and a blue or blue green based color can be used to neutralize it. Sometimes, the colorists will have to bleach the hair 2 times.

We also advise color correction lighter clients to be prepared for dry, frizzy hair to emerge after bleaching. On certain hair types this can cause breakage if there is a complicated color history to the hair. Such as home/kitchen box dye.

best hair color disaster correction salons nyc

REGARDING BLEACHING THROUGH ARTIFICIAL HAIR COLOR WTH OLD HIGHLIGHTS UNDERNEATH: This will cause “compounded damage” which means there is a higher risk of breakage in addition to unpredictable color results. If you covered up old highlights with dark box color it is very hard to remove because box color uses cheaper pigments. Cheaper pigments are very challenging  to strip out and may need more processing time or repeated bleaching sessions.

WHEN RECEIVING COLOR CORRECTION WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING:
OLAPLEX hair treatment! While traditional hair color penetrates the shaft and alters the bond structure of the strand, Olaplex utilizes polymers (the same used in transplant surgery to prevent rejection) to maintain bond structure throughout the process, leaving strands in their natural state from start to finish, resulting in ZERO damage and longer-lasting color. Best Color Correction Salon NYC.

— Use appropriate professional level, paraben +sulfate free, color safe shampoos and conditioners. Drugstore brands contain 85% water, waxes, parabens, and although may say they are color safe they do not work as effectively. You invested in a new color – so make sure to maintain it with recommended products! We are loving L’Oreal Professionnel Pro Fiber RECOVER Shampoo and Conditioner as they make even the most damaged hair behave for you better.

— Bring home a deep conditioning treatment like L’Oreal Professionnel Pro Fiber Masque to help rehab your hair so the color will stay longer in addition to repairing damage with argan oil and a little protein.

— Use a good leave in product like L’Oreal Professionnel Pro Fiber Serum-in-Cream. The antioxidants and U.V. inhibitor properties will help protect your new color from fadeage and also acts as a great thermal protectant during heat styling.

Fine Artistik Salon  salon is pleased to offer the latest and most unique way to extend your natural beauty… Hair Extensions. Your desire for longer, thicker, more beautiful hair can now be a reality. Whether you want length, volume, color enhancement or simply to update your current style, our SoCapUSA hair system can meet all of your needs. SoCapUSA revolutionary system will harmonize beautifully with your natural strands without ever displaying the visible telltale signs that are so common with other extension systems. While others use techniques such as welding, waxing, gluing or knotting, which strain and very often damage your hair to a high degree, our hair extensions are based on a much more gentle principle: modulating. Since there are no hot waxes or glues used in the modulating process, the integrity of the hair is never compromised. Strand by strand or Tape-In very high quality 100% human hair from Italy, India, Brazil and Russia is gently attached to your own hair. The point of attachment is composed of a protein polymer, which has a molecular structure similar to that of human hair, which means that it moves and behaves like human hair. Other polymers will deteriorate over time, because they are made of polymers that cannot mimic the natural motion of human hair. When attached, the bonds are virtually undetectable. It can, however, be easily removed by our experts using a solution which gently dissolves the polymers. Most important of all: your own hair is not damaged.

Here is a list of the top 5 reasons women wear hair extensions.

1) Women will cut their hair without properly researching the hair salon or the hair stylist and instantly will regret it. They want their hair back ASAP. Some women also have a hard time growing their hair out once it hits a certain length. Hair extensions help them reach their desired length.

2) Women with thin hair who just want to add thickness and possible a little length.

3) Hair Color – Some women just want to add streaks of color through their hair, but do not want to damage it by dying it.

4) Style – For women who don’t have time to do their hair everyday, you can get different textures of hair put in. You can get straight, wavy or curly, and it will always look like you took the time to do your hair!

5) To give your natural hair a rest from day to day styling. You style your hair every day, you use heat and hair care products. Sometimes your hair just needs a break to regrow and to retain some of it’s natural oils.

Best Hair Coloring Salons NYC. Best Highlights Salon NYC. Balayage Highlights!

Best Hair Coloring Salons NYC. Foils Highlights, Ombre Highlights or Balayage Highlights?

In our many years as hair colorists, it surprises us to learn that a lot of women don’t really know the difference between a highlight and a lowlight, let alone the different techniques for achieving the former, arguably more popular, look. Fine Artistik Salon is the Best Hair Coloring Salons NYC! Many of our clients know the terms for the processes — namely, foils and balayage — but they don’t often understand what’s involved in each one. Before you go to the salon seeking high or lowlights, arm yourself with some of the basics — and a photo!

best hair coloring salons nyc

“Highlights” is a general term that refers to strands of hair that are lighter than the base color they’re being laid upon. It’s commonly believed that a highlight is blonde, but actually a highlight only refers to a color that’s not as dark as the base strands. The size of the highlights, the level of lightness, the tone, and the placement are all left up to the colorist — after you’ve communicated the look you’re going for, of course. Highlights aren’t a one-size-fits-all, and neither is the way they are administered. Moreover, the type of highlight depends on a number of things: the look you want, the kind of hair you have, how light you wish to go. A rundown of the three main types of highlighting techniques, plus an explanation of lowlights, may help you decide what to ask for at your next color appointment. Best Hair Coloring Salons NYC.

People with thick, heavy hair, who like the look of chunkier highlights with more contrast (a stripier, less all-over blonde), should look into balayage. A French word meaning “to sweep”, balayage actually refers to the sweeping motion produced by the brush when the colorist paints swatches of hair.

“Balayage highlights” is a freehand hair painting technique in which swatches of hair are carved out from the whole head of hair and painted with a lightening agent. This is done in revolutions around the head, and each painted swatch is then covered in cellophane. As these highlights are less systematically placed, the resulting look is more natural highlights. By contrast, foil highlights — which we’ll explain in greater detail below — produce a more symmetrical head of highlights.

We prefer the balayage look when we want something more dramatic. We recommend it for clients looking for a casual, beachy look. Lighter tips and an almost ombré appearance help to define this look. But, balayage, which requires higher volumes of peroxide, may not be the right choice for everyone. Always talk to your stylist before diving into any new process. We are the Best Hair Coloring Salons NYC!

best highlights salon nyc balayage highlights color correction

Foil highlights involve sectioning off hair and weaving or slicing strands — thick or thin depending on the look you’re going for — and painting them with a lightening agent before wrapping them in foil. The foil serves two purposes: It keeps the lightening agent from getting on the surrounding hair, and it keeps the product moist so it doesn’t dry up and weaken. We prefer this technique for its exactness. It produces a much more controlled look than balayage, and as colorists, we know precisely where the color is going and what shade of lightness will result. We believe that a skilled color artist can achieve many different looks with any technique or combination of techniques. Some stylists and their clients like the look that results from getting both high and lowlights.

Unlike highlights, which are lighter than the base strands, lowlights are darker strands of color that are woven into the hair. This process typically produces depth and adds contrast when hair becomes overly light and one-dimensionally colored from being highlighted repeatedly. General oxidation and/or fading can occur from regular highlighting, which is another reason someone might opt to even things out with lowlights.

A great technique to keep hair from becoming washed-out and monochromatic, lowlights should also be monitored, since, over time, your ends may become dark and muddy from over-processing. Greater than the decision you make on your hair style and color, however, is choosing your stylist. And, as we’ve said it before: Always bring a photo with you to the salon. We advise clients against using technical/professional terms because it’s simply not as effective as displaying a photo of the look they hope to achieve. Leave the professional terms to the professionals 🙂

Best Balayage Highlights Hair Salons Upper East Side NYC! Freehand Hair Painting.

Best Balayage Highlights Hair Salons Upper East Side NYC! Balayage Highlights Is Most Demanded Today!

Balayage freehand hair coloring technique is a French technique that is the latest dye trend to gain international popularity. Fine Artistik Salon is the Best Balayage Highlights Hair Salons Upper East Side NYC. The goal is to create soft, natural-looking highlights that look more modern than traditional coloring methods.

best balayage highlights hair salons upper east side nyc

BALAYAGE DEFINITION: WHAT IS BALAYAGE AND WHY DO WE LOVE IT?

As opposed to standard highlighting methods that use foil or a cap, balayage is strictly freehand where the color is painted on. You can amplify the hue to vary from a soft wash to bright and bold depending on your personal preference. Outside of very short cropped hair, it can work on a variety of hair lengths, textures and colors, making it truly universal and flattering for all women. Most are drawn towards it because the maintenance level is relatively low; many are able to go four to six months between the hair coloring.

Keep in mind, if you have been coloring your hair at home (home box dye) depending on the tones you’ve been using and the length of time you’ve been dying your own hair, it might require 2-4 visits to the salon to achieve your desired hair color. In such cases, to avoid damage, we always HIGHLY recommend getting the Olaplex treatment on every visit to the salon! Best Balayage Highlights Hair Salons Upper East Side NYC

Balayage highlights options within brown palette are endless. You can go into reddish (caramel and auburn) tones of brown or try golden shades varying from browns to blondes. In case you would like a more neutral solution, it looks like this: dark brown for the under layer, medium browns washed to the lightest ash hues towards the ends and very light thin ribbons of brown blonde throughout the length here and there.

BROWN, CARAMEL AND BLONDE COLOR MIX: If you want to wear your hair down, a medium-length layered haircut is the best choice. If it’s bold and choppy, support its spirit with a dramatic balayage job. Graze the ends of the layers with a shade much lighter than your base color. Light caramel brown on black is a pretty good idea! Reddish tones of brown are also a very popular solution in balayage. You may start with chocolate brown or dark burgundy as the darkest base color and then pair it with chunky caramel highlights which of course need a sprinkling of blonde to set off the used colors.

BROWN OMBRE HIGHLIGHTS FOR BLACK HAIR: Balayage vs. ombre – which is the best for you? Actually, you don`t have to choose just one of them. This look blends two hair coloring techniques – ombre and balayage to achieve an effect of gorgeous dimensional waves effortlessly cascading down through their natural curves and bends.

DARK BROWN MIXED BALAYAGE HIGHLIGHTS: This mix of browns looks adorable on the shaggy waves. It’s truly an art to compose a blend that is so natural-looking and, at the same time, sophisticated and exquisite. A woman who doesn’t want to reveal the efforts she puts into looking this gorgeous will love the idea.

DELICATE BALAYAGE FOR MEDIUM LENGTH: Most examples of balayage on the Internet feature long hair. But shoulder-length locks also look very beautiful with ombre and with balayage. Brunettes who want to lighten up their hair significantly may go this cute idea with a light brown tone around the face, dark blonde at the ends and a sprinkling of the lightest blonde throughout the length.

CHOCOLATE AND DARK BROWN HAIR COLOR: It’s not the common streaking. The major benefit of this dye technique is creating dimension in the hair. If you enjoy being a brunette, opt for medium-toned brown balayage hair, remaining on your natural dark brown base. This color will look beautiful on medium length layered haircuts for wavy hair.

In the times when solid colors reigned in hair color trends, brunettes had to do frequent root touch ups. Blonde balayage highlights have become a salvation in this relation. Being a blonde and rocking your natural dark under layer is not a beauty crime anymore! Sometimes you don’t want additional colors to distract from the beauty of your healthy flowing locks. In this case subtle balayage highlights, a little bit more intense for the face-framing strands, are exactly what is needed. An exquisite compliment, but not an overshadowing attraction. Best Balayage Highlights Hair Salons Upper East Side NYC

f you’ve been coloring your hair for a while and you’re not happy or exited with the results, it’s time to examine what is happening.

Brunette hair has become dark and flat? One solution is to place fine highlights throughout the hair to bring back tones of red and gold that were darkened with repeat coloring. The shading allows the hair to sparkle and gives it a more natural feeling.

Highlights have lost all contrast and shading? One solution is to add various shades of lowlights throughout the head, with one shade darker than the natural. This technique allows the blond hair to shine through the deeper tones making the hair look healthy and beautiful.

Highlights disappear after a few shampoos? Fine highlights executed with hair color instead of a lightener will look great when you leave the salon, but will oxidize and disappear or become flat and mousy after a few shampoos. One solution is to place a few thicker highlights throughout the hair with a mild lightener, and if necessary add a few lowlights for contrast and depth.

Red hair has lost its sparkle? One solution is to reformulate your existing formula to include a more vibrant tone of red. If the red is dark or brownish, we need to remove some of the build-up with a mild lightener and then proceed to touch-up roots with lighter, brighter formula.

Tired of blond hair/ red hair /or any type of lighten hair/ and want to go back to your natural color? There are various techniques to accomplish this depending on the amount of re-growth and the condition of the hair. One solution is to lowlight the entire head with various shades of color close to your natural (darker and lighter). Using this technique results in a more natural blend, leaving the hair looking healthier, shinier and beautiful.

1.  I WANT PASTEL OR SILVER-COLORED HAIR, BUT MY HAIR IS DARK. IS IT POSSIBLE? AND WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR UPKEEP?

best violet metallic hair color salons nyc

Silver hair and cool pastel tones are always possible when you start as a blonde or have dark hair that is 100% natural.

First, your hair must be lightened enough so the pale color can stain it. For cooler colors like silver, violet, light blue, light gray or mint green, your hair color must be lifted to almost white. This is totally possible and works great if your hair is already bleached, highlighted blonde or is completely natural. It will take much longer to get natural darker colored hair light enough to take a pastel or silver color.

Warmer pastel tones like coral, pink, rose gold and lime green are a bit easier to achieve because the hair only needs to be lifted to a light yellow. These colors also tend to last a bit longer. Pastel hair is a commitment. Of course, it’s one we feel is worth it. The results are amazing! Once you have a creative color, we advise you to wash your hair just once or twice a week to help hold the color. Because the hair is bleached it needs shampoo much less frequently. Our clients come in once a month to have us refresh the color.

The brighter, darker or richer your purple, pink, or gray is when you leave the salon the longer the color will last. The pastel fades with each wash, but we love the way it looks as it does.

2. MY HAIR IS NATURALLY DARK OR HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY COLORED. CAN I GET BRIGHT COLOR ON THE FIRST TRY?

Naturally dark hair is super easy to get beautiful and bright the first try! With the help of OLAPLEX, bleach is no longer a scary chemical that damages natural hair. With it, we can lift your original color and give you stunning rainbow colors on that very day.

Previously colored hair (even grown and washed out for a whole year) can usually go really pretty and bright on the same day, unless the previous color is black or dark brown ESPECIALLY if it’s a box dye. In that case, we’d like to consult and make a plan with you. Maybe we can start with foils highlights or balayage highlights.

As professionally trained hairstylists, we can only give you what your hair can handle. Unfortunately, all hair is not created equal and results may vary. Generally we recommend coming in for two or three appointments to get hair to a bright blonde, white enough for that bright pink/green/purple/blue and red to show. Consultations are required and if you feel so inclined, we can always do a test strand.

best metallic hair dye salons nyc

3. MY HAIR HAS TO BE BLEACHED FIRST? WILL THAT DAMAGE IT?

When you lighten hair, you always blow up the cuticle a little bit. Depending on the condition of your hair you may notice only a bit more texture or a total change in the feel of your hair. We are here to talk you through all of this before we start. With the proper at-home care, like protein masques every other week and little-to-no heat styling, your hair won’t hate being lightened. It will feel different but many people love the new texture and body! Again, that is EXACTLY why we offer the OLAPLEX Treatment. It minimizes the damage up-to 90% sometimes 100% all depending on the hair and its current condition.

4. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO COME IN FOR COLOR TOUCH-UPS?

Since those dreamy pastels and vibrant hues are vegetable dyes, the more often you wash the hair, the faster the color will come out. Most upkeep will be every four weeks. Whatever you do, don’t wait too long to get your color freshened. If you wait too long, the hair will have to be bleached twice and you will get a brassy band. No one wants that, right?

5. HOW DO I KEEP UP MY BEAUTIFUL NEW COLOR?

Start by washing your hair less frequently. Wash in cold to luke-warm water—never hot. Invest in a dry shampoo! There are many wonderful products to help hide those natural scalp oils in between washes. When you do wash your hair, make sure to use only sulfate-free products. Sulfates are the active ingredient in most shampoos and tend to strip color with their cleansing and sudsing effect.

Either way, you MUST extremely careful and cautious with the colorist that will give you the transformation because if it’s not done properly your hair will require a hair color correction.

Best Ombre Balayage Highlights Salons NYC! Balayage Ombre Sombre Highlights Salons NYC.

Best Ombre Balayage Highlights Salons NYC. Difference Between Ombre & Balayage Highlights.

We, as hairstylists, know the difference between an Ombre, Sombre and Balayage Highlights. But we get asked this question ALL THE TIME! Or we get an appointment request for an “ombre balayage” and we are over here thinking, “Well, which one?!” So once again, we are here to set the record straight and share with you the difference between the two styles. Fine Artistik Salon is the Best Ombre Balayage Highlights Salons NYC!

best ombre balayage highlights salons nyc

OMBRE IS THE “STYLE” – The word ombre comes from the French word “shadow”. Ombre is the actual style. It is the transition of a lighter shade from a darker shade. Generally, ombres work best on brunettes because it is the least subtle of all the techniques, a sombre is what we would see on blondes. That technique is more subtle, hence the word sombre (soft-ombre). Ombre is great for the more daring girl, it is definitely more noticeable and typically stands out more. Ombre is kind of like color blocking, there are no dark pieces left on the bottom to help keep it natural, just a nice transition between the colors. While the ombre is a beautiful look, it is also something that needs to be done right! A bad ombre can make all the difference and please don’t try to do it on your own ladies! That’s the style called Homebre and no one wants that!

BALAYAGE IS THE “TECHNIQUE” – The two are very similar, but there are very obvious distinctions between the two! The word “Balayage” comes from another French word meaning “to sweep”. Now, if you have ever seen someone get a balayage in the salon, this probably makes sense to you. When applying the color for a balayage, you sweep the color through small triangle sections of the hair onto a board or foil, giving it the natural transition down into the lighter color. In Balayage, there are dark pieces left on the bottom to create dimension and a more natural look. This technique looks like natural sun-kissed highlights throughout the hair. The transition is more natural and it is less maintenance.

We use L’Oreal hair color and we also offer AMMONIA free bleach, the line of color with the highest quality for your hair. Our creative hair color specialists are Balayage Highlights educators for L’Oreal Professional that use the most advanced color to deliver beautiful shinny color for your hair. You can achieve so many different effects from soft, natural highlights to something strong and punky. The fact it’s so low maintenance is such a draw card for women too. People want to look fashionable and feel good about their appearance but in this day and age we don’t all have the time to be in the salon every few weeks for a touch up.

It’s also a very economical way to color your hair, as you never have a solid demarcation line or regrowth, so if you can’t afford to get it done for another month it won’t look atrocious. However, if your balayage isn’t done correctly you can end up with excessive overlapping that can cause damage which will lead to extremely dry hair and even hair breakage. That’s why you should only see a professional that specializes in Balayage hair painting technique. Now that you know the difference, are you comfortable with changing your hair up?! We sure hope so! Make an appointment today and get on trend! We look forward to hearing your comments and seeing your shares!

The colorist behind these creations is Jacob Amin. Fine Artistik Salon is one of the most hyped salons in NYC right now, and for good reason! Our clients list is impressive to say the least!

Rose Gold, Blue, Purple, Lavender, Silver, Gray, Metallic and Cool Pastel tones are always possible when you start as a blonde or have dark hair that is 100% natural (never colored).

Warmer pastel tones like coral, pink, rose gold and lime green are a bit easier to achieve because the hair only needs to be lifted to a light yellow (pale yellow blonde).

Naturally dark hair is super easy to get beautiful and bright the first try! Bleach is no longer a scary chemical that damages natural hair. We offer the Olaplex Treatment to minimize the damage. With it, we can lift your original color and give you stunning rainbow colors on that very day. However, depending on the hair, it might take 4 hours, or sometimes 6-8 hours.

Previously colored hair (even grown and washed out for a whole year) can usually go really pretty and bright on the same day, unless the previous color is black or dark brown. In that case, we’d like to consult and make a plan with you.

As professionally trained hairstylists, we can only give you what your hair can handle. Unfortunately, all hair is not created equal and results may vary. We are not magicians or psychics and we do NOT work magic. Generally we recommend coming in for two or three appointments to get the hair to a bright blonde, white enough for that beautiful rose gold/pink/green/purple/blue/lavender and red to show. Consultations are required!
